I just finished Molly’s Game. I first saw the movie on a flight this summer so when a mom in my book club recommended we read the book, I was immediately on board. I’ll be writing a more detailed review in my February 2019 reading list (have you seen the January list?) but I liked it. I think I must have been living under a rock when the story of Molly Bloom broke out in the late 2000s because I hadn’t heard about it until I saw the movie. Bloom ran the most exclusive, high-stakes underground poker game in the world with hundreds of millions of dollars won and lost at her table. Next up: Room, The Great Gatsby and The Hate U Give. I can’t decide what I want to read first. Any ideas?
