How are you? How are you feeling? This feels like such a loaded question with everything going on in the world. I have good days and days when it feels like everything is crashing down around me but I’ve been focusing on the good and keeping everyone around me as safe and healthy as possible. I’m also not great with uncertainty and having things up in the air. I like to have a sense of control and order but it feels like that is just no longer a possibility.
We’ve been seeing our parents often, which has been nice and helped with a sense of normalcy. I’ve ran into friends around the neighborhood who I haven’t seen in months and it takes all of my will power to not immediately hug them. These are strange times.
I’m making my way through Jesmyn Ward’s Men We Reaped and enjoying it. More on that in the next reading list. My major task for the week will be sleep training Brody so wish luck. 🙂 Please take care of yourselves. I’ll end my update with this – wear a mask. I keep an extra one in my car in case I forget mine. Have a wonderful week! ♥
