My Outfit Details: Dress: Isabella Oliver via Pea in the Pod (use code PERKS for 20% off!) | Shoes: Aldo, sold out (similar here, on sale!) | Lipstick: Turkish Delight by NARS

At eight months pregnant, it takes A LOT of time to find something to wear to a wedding that doesn’t make you look like a tent. These are photos from my cousin’s beautiful wedding last week. I tried on a few different dresses, especially ones that weren’t as form fitting to camouflage the baby bump but none of them quite worked. Some options I considered were this faux wrap gown by BCBG, this one shoulder evening gown by Ralph Lauren, and this maxi dress from DKNY. With my petite frame, I needed something that would be more curve hugging. I also didn’t want to buy an expensive formal maternity dress that I would only end up wearing once. Luckily, there are Isabella Oliver dresses to keep pregnant girls stylish!

I normally wear this floral dress to work but my awesome friend Meital suggested I wear it to my cousin’s wedding by dressing it up with some jewelry and killer shoes. I didn’t consider that the dress could work for a formal event until she mentioned it and it was exactly what I needed. I added some extremely high nude heels, a pearl necklace, pearl earrings, and a nude clutch (not shown) to transform the look from daytime to nighttime. I loved how everything came together.

All the fun events we’ve been going to must be rubbing off on our baby girl because she was dancing and having a great time all night long! Have you ever been completely stuck on what to wear to a wedding? What dress would you have gone with? Thanks for reading! xo, Tanya
