What I Packed for Bermuda

We just got back from our family trip to Bermuda and I’m proud to say that I packed light on this trip. Lighter than I have ever packed for a week. I even had room in my suitcase for the kids’ beach toys and an inflatable raft, which was shocking to me since I usually take up every square inch of space.

This was our second time in Bermuda. We previously traveled there on our baby moon when I was pregnant with my daughter so it was really fun to be back this time with both kids. We stayed at two hotels, the Fairmount Southampton Resort and Pompano Beach Club. I’m planning on writing a separate Bermuda travel guide post. In the meantime, here are all the pieces I packed for Bermuda. You can also read this post for tips on traveling with a toddler and baby.

Many of the clothes I brought were those I could wear in several different ways. I wore the white open-back top shown above with denim shorts and lace up sandals one night and with white jeans and slides the next. The striped faux-wrap dress is $18 from H&M. I used it as a beach cover-up and wore it to dinner in the evening at least three times. I also wore the ribbed button front dress several times. It was so easy to throw on without a bra when I needed to get ready quickly. I honestly surprised myself with how resourceful I was. 🙂 I’m usually one to wear something different each day. It was actually nice to not have too many things with me and it made getting dressed in the morning really quick-less options so less decisions.

I bought a few new bathing suits from H&M (the bandeau top was $4.99!) but unfortunately they didn’t arrive in time. I included them here anyway in case you’re packing for your next vacation and are looking for some inexpensive updates.

Everything is linked in the collage above so you can click on each item for the direct link. Do you have any trips planned this summer? Are you typically a light packager or do you bring half your closet? ♥
