Happy weekend! This weekend we’re going to my nephew’s birthday party at a bowling alley and then just relaxing on Sunday. Whatever you’re up to this Sunday, I hope it’s wonderful. Enjoy this week’s Sunday Edit below!
The Sunday Edit
I just finished Molly’s Game. I first saw the movie on a flight this summer so when a mom in my book club recommended we read the book, I was immediately on board. I’ll be writing a more detailed review in my February 2019 reading list (have you seen the January list?) but I liked it. I think I must have been living under a rock when the story of Molly Bloom broke out in the late 2000s because I hadn’t heard about it until I saw the movie. Bloom ran the most exclusive, high-stakes underground poker game in the world with hundreds of millions of dollars won and lost at her table. Next up: Room, The Great Gatsby and The Hate U Give. I can’t decide what I want to read first. Any ideas?
A fascinating article about the Instagram husband. In order to get that Instagram-worthy shot, I rely on my own Instagram husband and I’m eternally thankful! I especially love the video. It’s an oldie but a goodie!
I love this black dress. You can wear it to any wedding, Bar-Mitzvah, or birthday. If you want to add some edge or something different, wear a plain white t-shirt underneath and a black leather jacket on top.
I love this Banksy print but I’m looking for a great place to hang it up. Any ideas?
I’m excited to try this vegan sea salt hair mist.
For Philly locals, we had brunch at Wm. Mulherin’s Sons and it was so delicious. It’s one of our favorite spots for dinner so we decided to try the brunch and it was perfection. You have to get the Bucatini Cacio e Pepe!
A great article by Grace from The Stripe on buying your first Chanel bag and some tips to keep in mind.
The ever-increasing cost of streaming. Netflix raised its monthly fees and new competitors are entering the streaming arena.
